NEWARK, NJ (Monday, May 17, 2004) ¾ e-Law, LLC announced they will be providing a free demonstration of New Jersey No Fault Electronic Arbitration in concert with the National Arbitration Forum of Minneapolis, on May 20th, Thursday, at the New Jersey Bar Association Annual Convention.
“On January 26, 2004, the State of New Jersey awarded the National Arbitration Forum (NAF) a three-year contract to administer arbitrations for No-Fault Insurance Personal Injury Protection (PIP).” stated Jerry Krivitzky, Chairman and CEO of e-Law, LLC. “By melding our product eServe with systems at NAF, we have developed an entirely electronic experience for filing demands, responses, exhibits - indeed all correspondence and forms associated with the arbitration process.”
“Electronic filing of No-fault claims and other documents is new to the New Jersey No-Fault litigants and is projected to save litigants hundreds of thousands of dollars over the contract period.” According to Ed Anderson, Managing Director of NAF, “Law offices estimate the cost of paper handling at almost one dollar per page and mailing costs at tens-to-hundreds of dollars per case. These costs can be reduced or avoided altogether by utilizing NAF and eLaw online filing options.”
“When you sign up for eLaw you can immediately use eServe to distribute legal documents for less money, with less hassle and in less time.” added Ed Denné, COO e-Law, LLC
Both companies are hosting an information session and conference on the new procedures and related No-Fault arbitration issues on Thursday May 20th at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM in the Fairmount Room, Ballys Park Place, at the convention. All practitioners and Insurance representatives who participate in this field are invited to attend. There is no cost and no prior registration required.
