E-Docket - This service allows the user to search the state of New York Supreme Court dockets for cases and activity associated with individual cases (i.e., motions, appearances, and conferences) and to view a narrative description of that activity, all at no cost. Memberships are free, as are the case searches. Users can search by a party's name, any part of the name, specific case identifier (case index or docket number), and county venue. Additional search criteria will be added as the need is recognized and the data supports it. Because access to this service is free and unlimited, and the information is constantly changing, e-docket gives E-Law.com its reach and stickiness. |

E-Watch - E-Watch is a subscription service that provides e-mail notifications or "alerts" from E-Law.com informing a lawyer or lay individual that something has happened in a case. In order to receive an alert, you must first sign up with E-Law. Memberships are free, as are the case searches. You can search for cases by a plaintiff or defendant's name or by a case index number. Once you locate a case that you want to track, click on the Add to E-Watch button directly below the case name that you have located and follow the simple instructions. You will get e-mail notifications of scheduled court appearances, calendar matters, judge changes, the filing of notes of issue and motion decisions in that case or any other that you wish to follow. |

E-Calendar - A visual display of important dates and "to do's" relating to cases registered on E-Watch as well as user entered events. The Calendar, a personal web based time manager, allows for full entry and editing by the user and could function as their master calendar (or a backup) that is available to them from any Internet connection. The automatic event-posting feature, in conjunction with the E-Watch functionality, could earn lawyers a substantial reduction in their legal malpractice premiums. E-Calendar will also provide a facility to determine available dates for conferences and other meetings. E-Calendar bolsters the personalization aspect of E-Law.com and creates a value-added for adding case listings to E-Watch. |

E-Copy - For a minimal fee, users will have the opportunity to request a copy of specific court documents located during an E-Docket search or referenced in an E-Watch e-mail alert. Simply click on the "get me a copy" button, and a copy of the decision will be faxed, mailed or sent by next day delivery to you depending on your preference. This service only applies to cases that are in 5 counties, New York, Queens, Kings, Richmond, and Bronx for now but will be expanding in the near future. |
